What we collect
When you take the genZ genius assessment, we collect:
- Your assessment answers (multiple choice and free text responses)
- Your email address (only if you choose to save progress or purchase a report)
- Birth date, time, and city (only if you choose to provide them for the astrology component)
- Your approximate age range
How we use it
Your data is used exclusively to:
- Generate your personalised genius type report
- Calculate your birth chart (if provided)
- Send you your report via email (if purchased)
- Allow you to resume a saved assessment
We do not sell, share, or trade your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-party services
We use the following services to operate:
- Stripe — for secure payment processing. We never see or store your card details.
- AI language models — to generate your personalised report. Your answers are processed but not stored by these services beyond the immediate request.
- Astrology API — to calculate birth chart positions (if you provide birth data).
Data storage & security
Your data is stored securely in an encrypted database. Assessment results are protected by row-level security policies, meaning each result can only be accessed via its unique identifier. We do not use your data for training AI models.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format

Cookies
We use localStorage (not cookies) to save your assessment progress locally in your browser. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics cookies.
